Get footloose and fancy-free at Landbridge supported 10 Minute Dance Parties
Landbridge is pleased to partner with this year’s Darwin Festival, Melbourne artist Joseph O’Farrell (JOF) and a guest line-up of Darwin locals to bring you 10 Minute Dance Parties in a shipping container at Festival Park.
This all-ages event encourages you to do one thing only – dance, for 10 minutes.
Managing Director for Landbridge in Australia, Mike Hughes, said Landbridge is pleased to continue their support of the Festival for the fifth year running.
“Landbridge continues to support community events, that directly contribute to a vibrant and prosperous future for the region.
“The 10 Minute Dance Parties are a fun way for people of all ages to get out of their comfort zone and try something unique during Darwin Festival.
“Who can say they’ve danced for 10 minutes in a shipping container?
“It’s definitely going to be an experience!”
There will also be a series of DJ workshops for young Darwin locals in the lead up to the event with workshop attendees becoming the official DJs for the 10 Minute Dance Parties.
“The DJ workshops are a great way for young Darwin locals to build their confidence, while having fun,” Mr Hughes said.
“We look forward to seeing them on the decks during Darwin Festival.”
