Landbridge is a private multinational company with business interests in port and logistics, oil and gas, real estate and tourism, and manufacturing and trade.
Landbridge’s vision is to develop northern Australia as the gateway to Asian markets, facilitating development and trade for Australian producers, businesses and industry.

Landbridge’s headquarters are located in Brisbane, Queensland and its holding company, Landbridge Group’s headquarters are in the Shandong province of China.
History
Landbridge Group began its operations in Shandong province of China in 1992 when Mr Ye Cheng registered Landbridge Group’s first enterprise, Rizhao Port Oil Company; the first local oil wholesale enterprise in Rizhao.
Since then, Landbridge has continued to expand and now has business interests in port and logistics, oil and gas, real estate and tourism, and manufacturing and trade.
Landbridge made its first overseas investment in 2014, with the acquisition of Australian listed company Westside Corporation Pty Ltd.
Westside
Westside is a growing oil and gas explorer and producer that has been successfully exploring, developing and operating in Queensland since 2005, and in New Zealand since 2016.
Westside operates the Meridian Gas Fields in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, with its joint venture partner, Mitsui E&P Australia Pty Ltd. Westside also owns and operates the Rimu, Kauri and Manutahi fields in South Hawera, Taranaki, New Zealand as well as the Kaheru exploration block.

Darwin Port
In October 2015, Landbridge was selected by the Northern Territory Government (NTG) to lease and operate Darwin Port. Darwin Port comprises commercial wharf facilities at the East Arm Wharf and the cruise ship terminal at Fort Hill Wharf.
