Darwin Port Bandstand supports live and local acts at Darwin Festival

Landbridge and Darwin Port are pleased to announce their sponsorship of the Darwin Port Bandstand, live and local acts at Darwin Festival. This year, the Darwin Port Bandstand will showcase up-and-coming NT artists in Festival Park, providing them with maximum exposure.

Darwin Port Non-Executive Director Terry O’Connor said Landbridge is proud to continue its support of the Festival for the eighth consecutive year.

“Darwin Port is committed to supporting community events that contribute to a vibrant and prosperous future for the region.

“We’re delighted to continue our long-standing sponsorship of the Festival by supporting local acts at the Darwin Port Bandstand,” said Mr O’Connor.

Darwin Port CEO Peter Dummett said Darwin Port Bandstand gives the perfect backdrop for the Festival by offering the community free local acts to enjoy at Festival Park.

“The Bamboo Bandstand, located in the busy Festival Park hub, has long been a centrepiece of the festival.

“It provides a vibrant space where the community can enjoy live and local music at no cost, ensuring everyone can experience the joy of music and entertainment,” he said.

“We’re very excited to take on this naming rights sponsorship and look forward to what Darwin Festival have planned for the stage this year,” said Mr Dummett.

Darwin Festival CEO James Gough said “We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from Landbridge and Darwin Port.

“Their sponsorship of the Darwin Port Bandstand not only helps us highlight the immense talent within our local community but also enriches the overall festival experience for all attendees.

“We are excited to see the vibrant performances that will light up Festival Park and bring people together to celebrate the arts,” he said.
